PADI Advanced Diver Course
The PADI Advanced Diver Course is the next level after PADI Open Water Diver. It opens up many more dive destinations and dive spots, since in many areas dive spots are restricted to Advanced certified divers if the spots are deeper than 20m / 60f or the conditions are less than ideal.
The PADI Advanced Diver Course is composed of 5 adventure dives and corresponding knowledge reviews.
Every course must include the Deep and Navigation Dive plus 3 other adventure dives, depending on what the particular dive center can offer. You may choose from the following adventure dives: Night Diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive, Naturalist Dive, Fish ID Dive, Search and Recovery Dive and UW Photography Dive.
Prerequisites
- PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent
- Minimum Age: 15 years old / 12 years old for Junior AOWD
- Duration of the course: 2-3 days
Basic Skills Review
Student divers who did not dive for more than 6 months will be required to complete skills review in shallow water with the instructor prior to the Advanced Open Water Diver Course ( this review is not included in the course fee, regular dive charges apply)
